TumbleA Poem by Brooke MillerKind of a dark poem. Was feeling pretty blue when I wrote this.Keep on crashing in my back ocean waves never lack. Sea of dark blue purities come and make my knees weak salty water find my spine drag me under one good time. Little grains of sand find my body and kiss my hands. Ice cold water steal my breath leave me drowning in regret. Pins and needles down my throat solid gulps that hold down the chokes. Body tumbling beneath the waves grazing sandy bottoms with hair hiding my face. Surface me once to take in the sight An empty beach, leaving me alone to fight the ocean waves alone. Swallow me up whole. No one can hear the screams of terror. Tumble me once more dark blue sea. Let my body be battered, beaten, and torn under the waves. Wash it up on a brighter day.
