The WarA Story by Brooklyn1173This story is open to interpretation. Basis of this story is the war of the Eagle and the Lion against the Bear. I would love to get your interpretation and reviews. Can’t you hear it? The eagle’s battle cry and the lion’s great roar rallying their soldiers together. If you listen closer you can hear the bear’s deep growl in the distance, awaking his fighters from their deep hibernation. Two sides of great power and strength but also crippling pride. The time has come; the possibility of peace has long since passed. The eagle leaves the nest and the lion emerges from its cave, bidding goodbye to their young and promising their mates to return. The bear shows his softness as he nuzzles his cubs, trying to dissuade their fears of being fatherless. As they leave their homes, their armory shining bright, they both are sure they’ll win the fight. When they meet the clash is great. Screams of eagles, lion's roars, and growls of bears all mix to compose the song of war. Though as the battle reigned on, the ballad began to fade as its choir began to fall. Not long after the bear, the eagle, and the lion stopped to realize the song had ceased. They looked around and realized that in that moment it mattered not who prevailed, they had nothing left to fight for. © 2014 Brooklyn1173Author's Note
