RIP to the girl I used to beA Poem by Winnter
She died by the fire that night.
A heart so full of hope and trust with talks of soul mates and endgames. Music with power but no words. Philosophy talk under the stars. Aloe on burn wounds. Heads in the clouds. Little did she know the stakes he would take to keep her forever. No matter love or hate. He'd always be there. Now she's scorned. A powerful, beautiful, chaotic hurricane. His name , his hair color, it all strikes fear. Anger surges underneath the grief of who he used to be. Loving someone who was never real still haunts her mind. Meeting in dreams and emotions surfacing with the sunrise. The day they meet again may be the end. He was her ruin. Her chaos. But she died that night. And another was reborn. Now she is untouchable. Everyone else's chaos and unconditional love at the same time. © 2021 Winnter |
