Writers Block

I've got half written poems 

floating through my 

brain, attempting to put 

something together

is driving me insane.

Poetry, poetry, 

don't you owe it to me? 

Just to work instantly just 

this one time. No fussing, or faffing,

just bloody rhyme.

Author's Note

I have writers block right now, i can't write anything. I am annoyed that i cannot, and ended up with this. I know it's terrible, but hey, cut me some slack.

That first stanza is like perfection. I don't know how else to even some up writers block, I wish i would have wrote it. This is the third poem I've read so far and I love the way you rhyme.

If you want some actual sincerity, a lot of it's to do with sincerity itself:

Just being able to think of a set of ideas isn't what's usually the problem, it's the tangible issue of size - a person, who just wants to tell a story often can, it's that they're having to expand vastly on technically only so much that's necessary to tell.



The Representative, (my text) for example.....to sincerely tell it, all that actually I needed to say exceeded no more than 4,500 words - despite at one time having existed at over 70,000!!



First, when tackling this issue, resort always to asking: what is it that only you wish to say?



And you do rhyme well.

It's difficult dealing with it. It just drives you mad. I wanted to write, but i couldn't but i kept trying.

Usually when that happens to me, I just put the pen down and do something else for a few weeks and inspiration picks back up in no time.

Ahhh writer's block. A writer's worst enemy. I have experienced this from time to time and it drives me nuts as well! Walking away for awhile and coming back to it later helps me out a lot. :)
