Fire!

Fire!

A Poem by Ms. Von
"

Always be careful while approaching flames...

"

My homeboy told me about a chick, said she was red hot like a match tip and he could not wait to strike it

He said she was hot, hot, hot as hell's flames

Ms. Cayenne Peppa could have been her name!

S-I-Z-Z-L-I-N-G, said she was sizzling at about one hundred and eighty degrees

And it made him do a 1-80 as he felt her heated breeze

As she passed him and his pores popped out sweaty beads

That filled his face and he knew that somehow and some way, one of these days, he would get her to lay

On her back so he could insert his thermostat.....to determine whether it was fiction or fact

Or maybe infatuation that her body was as blazing as in his steamy imagination

To his surprise, she gave no hesitation

No need for small talk, drink buying, or making reservations

Oh no, this firecracker was down for whatever and very gracious

She even initiated the offer of her body for his exploration

And to top it all off, she didn't even make him wear a condom

Said she didn't normally do that but he was a "special one"

And just as he'd suspected, the temperature was as firey as the sun!

He couldn't have been more satisfied when it was all said and done

That is until a little time passed, approximately three months

Which was when he realized he had fallen victim to a vicious con

She was hot, hot, hot as hell's flames

But he failed to realize that the heat could cause such immense pain

And it's such a shame that on the burned list he is yet another name

But he now knows that he is mostly to blame

Because he should have used caution while approaching the flames

And should have NEVER played with fire like it was a game

'Cus everyone knows that eventually you're bound to get scorched or even third degree burns

And unfortunately the hands of time can't go back and be turned

So before you play, lay, fornicate or however you want to say it, you need to show self concern

Or you may just end up like my homeboy living with AIDS, a hard lesson learned.
