Pain and lie's

Pain and lie's

A Poem by brokenwing1986

She hides behind a mask

The mask is to hide the pain

If you look deep in her eyes

You still can see what she can't hide

She was held on the lies.

Takes a breath to slow her nerves

heart wildly beats.

He takes my hand

we dance the tango

another night gone

when the dust

sets in the morning

The bruises will be brand new.

she coats her face to hide the pain

and the lies.

We will wear many masks in our life. Some are for safety and some are to protect our emotion and desire. I like this mask. Some masks must be changed daily. A very strong ending to the outstanding poem.
