ConfessionsA Poem by Zane MathiasForgive me father for I have sinned It has been a century since my last confession I played the parts- my mind at war, The dope show playing Like a broken record from Poes evermore, I just shot up I need this confession I loved feeling filthy- filthy and whored I sold myself-my soul-sold all my love and possessions I still can get enough- I need more to fixate this addiction, One more hit, one more high The pain last for seconds Passing time, nodding off, hallucinating my crucifixion Writing my obsessions time, drugs sex and vengeance I cant Seem to get enough I am always fixated on these addictions I guess this mean I go to hell To this my final confession I don’t think I can change Do I even have a reason Will it be another century till my next confession. Lay out on the floor convulsing with the devil Give me just one more hit and I will become your unholy vessel Deliberating constantly Shot up or reality This falsified world I live a fatality Came crashing down taking casualties.
Forgive me father for I have sinned It has been a century since my last confession Is it worth it to continue For this human body I possess is a abomination to your message. © 2011 Zane MathiasReviews
