The golden hearts

Why can't they see these golden hearts? Love so strong and passion so real. Why wont they let them mend and why won't they let them heal?!

Why can't we be together, time and time again. Affecting each other at different times- age and all offense. Due to love, due to hatred, due to time and wrong placement.
Due to secrets, due to longing, due to why everything is docking.

If only they could see everything we are meant to be! Afraid of happy ever after... Well this isn't make belief. True love is denied. Tears cried. Empty and still throbbing inside. Golden hearts- stolen from mirrors, they are dying with mine.

We were put in dark places, put in empty spaces, yet still made for happier makings. Deny my love- deny my trust- they even deny us?! For silver they bear, as it may shine just enough.

who is the "they". True raw emotion felt when read. It is a bit bumpy in places and could easily be smoothed out a bit. Try reading it aloud to your self, you will feel where it glides and where it is bumpy. Nice writing though, you have the ability to bring forth the emotion.
