Jam Fest

Jam Fest

A Poem by Katie

Hey you hop in my car
Lets go down to boulevard
Where the ladies are pretty and the lads aint lazy just playin some Tom petty
On their air guitars
Lets go down to boulevard
You better run, i call shotgun
Pick up some sticks
As we play sick tunes
Beat on our chest like normal teens do
Hop in my car
Lets go down into bovlevard
Once mom says we done with chore
Watch ferris bueller on the shore
Score some shots and drink some more
Lets go down to boulevard
Feel the Rush and play Tom Sawyer
Neighors say shush but can't stop us now
Neighbor Roxanne called the police
Hey you hop in my car
Lets go to another boulevard
We can be wild or comfortably numb there
      Or
Beating our chest like normal teens do
Wild and free like normal teens be
