A Chapter by Tellie Allen

So I guess this is the part where I tell you how the whole hanging out thing went. But if I did that then it wouldn’t be as interesting.

Now as I’m getting ready to go with him, I find out that my best friend is driving. So that means it went from two to three.

I sat in the car watching the rainbow blurs pass by. Now of coarse a guy is driving so the music is like three times as loud then a normal person would have it.

Now he doesn’t live to far from me but it felt like it was taking forever.

We pull into a trailor like house. And from the looks of it, it was going to be crowded. I was wrong. The only people who lived there was him, his brother, and his mom. They also had four dogs.

I followed them into a strange part of the house, then to his room. It was cleaner then I expected. Well it being a boys room and all.

I watched them talk in code as if I wasn’t aloud to hear them. They said I’d find out later. Ok like I wanted to know?

Every once in awhile I would but in with a smartass comment or just a comment. My mysterious new friend sat next to me all night.

Then I finally figured out what I was going to be told….

So our friend and the guys brother were pushing him to do it. He stumbled over the words trying to form the sentences. He finally said, “They want me to tell you I want to make you mine.”

Flushed with fever, I giggled, “Hm I’ll think about it.”

I called our friend over, “You know the answer correct?”

“Um duh. When you going to tell him?’

“I’m thinking when you guys drop me off I’ll say yes then walk out.”

          “NICE!” He high fived me.
