Chapter 4: Saying hello again

Chapter 4: Saying hello again

A Chapter by Tellie Allen

I finally found the library it took a few hours, but I guess in this big place I shouldn’t be surprised. When I got to the building it looked old and abandoned. Like it was forgotten. It reminded me of those haunted houses you see on scary movies and Scooby doo.
The door knob was freezing. Like it hadn’t been touched in years. It didn’t make to much sense. Its like a hundred degrees here all the time. The windows were cracked and covered in dust. The walls were showered in graffiti.
But when you get inside it looks new. Like they redid the inside but forgot there was an out. It was also deathly quiet here. I saw the main desk and decided to walk over.
“May I help you?” an older lady asked. She looked like she could go at any minute but that didn’t seem to bother her.
“Oh yes. I’m lookin fore a Jay Black. I hear he is here all the time but I wasnt quite sure.”
“He’s in the back.”
I looked to where she was pointing. Wow he has changed. But doesn’t look like mom had described. He had long blonde hair that hid his eyes and covered half his face. He looked as if a sheet was draped over him.
