beauty and the beast

beauty and the beast

A Poem by Tellie Allen

i dont own a mirror

cause im afraid to see

what could truely honestly

be me. in the dark is where

i like to hide. i glare and

stay quiet so no one will know.

that i may actually be

there. or practically anywhere.

im scared to show you who i

really am. i love you more

then any man or women could

ever have. its like your beauty

and im just a beast. i try to seem

more then what you will see.

its just like the movie

except theres no rose.

to save me from lonelyless.

there isnt a petal that falls each day

there isnt a candle to sing

the blues away.

the clock is still ticking not

bossing me so.
