All You'll Ever Be is Mean.A Poem by BeatricePortinari.dedicated to the bully we all know. You have this thing about you, dear You give everybody a little piece Of that fake and wicked smile So they’ll have a taste of who you are And come back for more. All you’ve done is bite me, The one who doesn’t like your perfume. The moment you realized I wasn’t a clone of Nothingness, I was doomed. So now you stand tall Surrounded by the shadows I create Waiting for the moment to smile And push me into mistakes. But there’s nothing to you And so much to me, You’re alone in a sea of empty people And, darling, I’m just learning to be free When I travel the world And hold flowers in my palm All that will be left of you Is the ashes they burned From your yellow bones © 2011 BeatricePortinari.Author's Note
