Nihilistic ExistenceA Poem by Broken SerenityA poem about the depression caused from having to exist within this painful world and trying to make your escape from it.
The truth is that life goes on
The river of time sings it's eternal song Leaving the unheard whispers to reflect Reflect on the emptiness they lay among Hollow eyes and a fresh noose tied Bitter tears never cried The truth is that love and pain are synonymous What you get is a draw out of a magician's hat Love can hurt and you can hurt to love I guess I can find some wretched version of pleasure in that Hidden emotions locked up tight Slowly loosing the will to fight The truth is that nobody cares Scream out, even louder, as loud as you can Be greeted by silence while drifting in the dark Terror barreling towards you like air from a fan Lungs uselessly grasping for air Eyes fading to a lifeless stare
