Solemnity in SerenityA Poem by Broken SerenityIn the midst of all the idiots in high-school it can be one person that makes everything okay inside. This is dedicated to my adorable idiot of a boyfriend
Cold rainy days
lost in a mid-spring haze Drip drop drip drop falling on umbrellas that never stop Monotonous hallways all singing the same refrain in a frantic craze Class after class until I see your face abruptly halting my dream induced pace I look into your eyes but you not in mine Even so, I feel our hearts combine Blue lockers upon blue lockers blonde bimbos and gum poppers Your daring smile and mischievous eyes always come to my surprise For some reasons you hold me like you're afraid to loose me and all your true colors I can finally see Pain was all I really expected but all of my fears have been rejected We laugh as a pair and what others think of us, we don't really care Sunset falls closing the clones malls Rain-boots meeting puddles of water outside the workshop of a potter The intricate beauty of the clay assures me that our love will stay Finally my eyelids demand sleep and misery never utters a single peep
