Monotone Sonata

Monotone Sonata

A Poem by Broken Serenity
"

This is a short poem about not giving up on love even if it's futile and even if in the end you'll probably still loose.

"
Alternate reality
filled with you and me

Daydreams of love and peace
but what is this aching that will not cease

Forbidden glances
My heartbeat, it prances

Forced smiles
as the realization piles

That you and me aren't meant to be
It was always clear to see

Even so I would hate
to submit to that kind of fate

A discord if what isn't true
even so I will fight against the odds for you

Author's Note

Broken Serenity
If you would please, read it out loud and tell me how it sounds? If it flows smoothly or if it's choppy or anything you notice with the fluidity of the poem.
