The Zoo

The Zoo

A Poem by Broken.
"

All that damage

"

I'm on the ground
My knees are bent and my head is hanging
You knocked me over
You kicked me too hard
Did you not stop to look into my eyes?
They connect to my soul
I thought you knew that
I thought you knew everything about me
That one firm point of you could kill
All you'd need is a little forceful pull
from anger
Caressed the proper way
Your a dream
The snakelike ways
Caressed backwards
You hiss
I saw those tricked fangs
That sharp fork dancing around them
That certain cloud you gave to me
The only one on earth shaped
like fishnet stockings
cutting off the circulation of my working leg
You gave me the leather
and taught me how to use it
I used it well
don't you think?
I made you bleed
I cut off your neck
But, you still have me
pinned to the ground
gasping for breath
The breath I know will never come
But I try anyway
You unearthed me
So why plummet me back into the ground?
Oh, say my name
I like those slow shaken letters
coming from your drying throat
Just once more
After all, you've crushed me
Then again, what should I expect from

A feather

This is so good I'm rendered inarticulate.

It amazes me how the depths of you skip around from one work to another. This one is my personal favorite of yours. Darker than Dark. Makes me want to curl up with you. Got Popcorn?

Yes, indeed this is dark, but eloquently written. The picture you chose is creepy, but sets up the emptiness of your message quite well. Lovely job.

Lovely. Dark.

(A little irrelevant, but this is what I thought of:
