Killing Her Softly

Killing Her Softly

A Poem by Briana Collins

She was rejected

She was not loved

Her heart will never heal

She's broken up inside

She swears she'll never live again

Razors no longer cut her wrists

For even pain will not help

It hurts so much

She cannot bear it

He stabbed the knife through her heart

With his eyes

She bled internally

Killing her softly

With words unspoken
