Dancing In The Rain

Dancing In The Rain

A Poem by Briana Collins
"

I guess you could say this describes how in life you can be happy and free and the tiniest of things can take that away.

"

Spinning

Twirling

Making the most of my last moments

Rain trickles down on my cheeks

Then i hear your footsteps, and i start to cry

Your hand wraps itself around my throat

And You Drag me away

I knew this would happen

But couldnt you let me savor a few minutes

A few more seconds of bliss?

That's all i ask

But it's a silly request

'Cause Your not so easy to reason with
