I believed in happily ever afters.

I believed there was good.

I believed that I could.

But the I learned the truth,

And I realized all the lies.
I understood the pain,
Of heartbreak and goodbyes.

But the most important thing I learned.

Was there's no point in trying to pretend.
That I didn't know that happy endings,
Are just endings that haven't end.
