A Poem by Hidden Nightmares

You look at them as though they are nothing but a problem.
Like they are nothing more than an issue to be dealt with or a problem that needs to be fixed.
Because to you that's all they are.
But with all due respect, I don't quite understand how you can feel that way about another person when
you don't even know them.
All you know is what you see on the outside.
And although appearance may say something about a person.
It doesn't say much.
It's just an intro to their story.
A story you've yet to hear.
Because you're misunderstandings and quick judgement have caused you to overlook them.
But please, one day, just for a few minutes.
Open your mind and lend an ear.
You'll be surprised at what you discover.
