Perception

Perception

A Poem by Brittney

Can we look at death as beauty?

Will that conceal our fear of fate?

Do we await a day of amargendon?

Or is that my mind just running late?

Can we believe that love is endless?

Will that shed light on a beating heart?

Do we cover sins with religion?

Or is a tombstone just a mark of art?

Would you mind if I answered..... For death is the beauty that connects us to our creator, the fear that we conceal will melt away like a now-a-later, Armageddon is seen as deadly, I think it's a beauty in disguise, For when the world is shifted, all tear-ducts will forever remain dry, To believe in love makes it endless, simply because without it we would have no existence, weather creation by our parents or through the God of many religions, The art that is never mentioned is that God is love from the beginning, the words to fill the lines, were just there to remember all the glory that we have been missing........ Superb....that's what your poetry led too. Magnificent.

I liked the piece but there were parts in which it did not flow as well as it could have.

Brittney you are such a creative intellectual thinker with a beautiful soul. I like the way you challenge the reader to do a little thinking.

Thank you so much!
I love the last line, it has so much behind it in terms of how we see death and deal with it. I have always believed that the only person that cannot be effected by death is the person who dies. Great poem!
