A name you could never say.

A name you could never say.

A Poem by Britt

Say today the picture changes,
the landscape conjures a cloud.
The dark replaces the sun,
the never replaces the now.

Say if the frame becomes a weakened hold,
say if you loved me.
would you question;
Why?     When?      How?

So when the picture falls,
when the grasp becomes a fragile clasp.
When the glass becomes nothing but a
tainted shattered mask.

Just say you loved me,
Then,      There,     Tomorrow.
Because say if tomorrow i'm not here,
I'll be nothing more than just a word.

A name you could never say.

Good work, I really liked the third stanza. Everybody wears a mask to hide behind but sometimes it slips away to reveal our hidden truths.

Good job, Britt!
