Oh, Ava

Sometimes I worry about my friend. I wrote this in her honor.

Oh Ava, a best friend of mine.

I know its been hard.

I know that it hurts.

But I also know,

That things will change.

And while some people will hurt you,

Many others will help you.

And always remember,

That no matter what you do.

You are beautiful and,

You are strong.

You are someone who will overlook her sadness,

and put a smile on my face.

You Are You.

And nobody can change that.

great poem! lots of heart, i can definitely tell what you are trying to say. very seldomly can people put so much feeling into one poem. And though you may be amateur you have all the heart emotion and literacy of that of your peers tenfold. That friend is a lucky girl to have someone who cares about her so much.

Maybe call it something more interesting than "My Friend." something like "Oh, Ava" maybe? Other than that, it's a nice start. Keep writing, you have talent.
