Eyes

Eyes

A Poem by Brittany
"

What do your eyes give away?

"
I think the prettiest thing,
About a human being.
Is their eyes.
And the story they can tell.

The color.
And the shape.
The way they can stare,
Or just a quick glance.

You can tell emotions too.
Anger and Happiness.
Hurt and Joy.
Oops,  I know they're lying.
Or maybe they're wide and honest.

But when you think about it,
It really isn't the color.
Or the shape.
Or even the emotions.

It's what you see.
And how they see you.
Do you want other people's eyes,
To look at you and see,
A liar, a thief, or anger.
Or a truly good, kind person?

It's about how they perceive you.
And how you see them.

Truly beautiful, the only thing I can nitpick about would be grammar, but just in the first stanza, where you say they story they, doesn't look too right. But other than that, Exceptional, truly and utterly poetic.
