Happy BlissA Poem by Brittany LavySome people take things for granted. This poem is in dedication of all those who actually do have it rough in their lives and fight for their happiness. We're the lucky ones, We have everything we could ask for. We have everything done, For us, and all we do is want more.
There are some people in this world, Who don't have anything at all. We get opportunities whirled, Upon us, as we watch others fall.
The world isn't always a fair place, We have to fight for the fairness. But yet we find ways to embrace, All the happiness.
People who starve, Who are left without food. They're happy for who they are, Them and their imperative mood.
People who live out on the streets, The homeless. They have the will and strength to get up on their feet, And fight for their happiness.
Soldiers fight for us, While we lay back in our homes. We just ask them to be blessed, As they go out on their own.
Today's society is made up of want, And happiness. Want is made to taunt, But our wants can't intrude on our pure bliss.
