Darker Tones

Darker Tones

A Poem by BrittZurg
"

Description of a feeling unknown

"

Allegedly the deepest depths,

distant shoals uncharted yet.

I lust to settle in silent thirst,

conceive myself

 yield

 converge.

Inhale the deep green nebulous blue,

blending myself amidst the darker hues.

Sensitivity skitters upon barren bone,

Destructive

 ensnaring

 undertones.

Omniscient dark humble abode,

 Admirably my honest  home.

Creative prose stimulated from the sub-conscious psyche - good use of imagery and the wordplay is spot on! I think we need to see more of your imaginations shared on this site … top marks … :-)

This has a really good tone and texture, it sucks the reader right into the feeling and washes them in the sepia tones and dark currents. Not desperate though, more like I'm comfortable in this space. I really enjoyed this.

Thank you so much!!
Oh wow, this is beautifully dark and haunting. I absolutely love the depth of soul in it.

conceive myself
yield
converge" =perhaps the best lines of all within, but I loved all of them!

Wow, I love this, and can't wait to read more of you!! :)
