He is mineA Poem by TheCreativeNerdAnother one about one of my brothers
He is mine,
But he is never here, He is the flame, That helps me function; The way I am today. He keeps me fine, But always mere, You want his name? I want his attention, But it will never go my way. So I will when, To reach his ear. This is not a game, I am serious about this confession. I want to make her pay. But I will resign. And think of my career, As the mainframe. I may ask for the direction, Of the crossways, To the sunshine. You see this tear, This is the shame, Of that cushion, That's in my way. He is in my bloodline, So don't look so leer, My mind is maim, With all this fiction, I feel like a stray, On the shoreline, Of the Goodyear. I am aflame; But too caution, To go in the driveway, Of his coastline. I am austere, To tell you my aim With this passion. And word play. © 2017 TheCreativeNerdAuthor's Note
