My Life

My Life

A Poem by Britaini Gross

My life, dark and cruel,
Like that of winter's bare trees,
Not dead but sleeping.

A restoration of limbs an internal dialog can be a beautiful thing that awakens the spirit. Not dead but sleeping is something a lot of people do. Unfortunately, lots are walking around at the time. Guess you don't have to think too long to get that. I was once empty of leaves myself.

Very sad.
Not dead, but sleeping
Still like trees, waiting, waiting.
You deserve better, take it !
Enjoyed this bit of poetry.
