InsanityA Poem by Britaini GrossInsanity By Britaini Gross
They say you don't know when you're completely
insane. If that’s so, then how do you know when
you're not? It’s hard to admit when you’re not the
same, and my sanity is suddenly caught.
How can I know what’s impossible to know? And my mind gets lost when it starts to
roam.
They try to tell me that I'm not insane, but funnel medicine into me like I'm
sick. "You're perfectly healthy,"
they claim and then treat me like I don't quite
click.
I say that it's them who's insane. Click. I'm just the one they try to blame.
