As if through ReflectionsA Poem by Britaini GrossJust a short poem I threw together. This world screams only of hateful darkness.
In no point of my life was I a social
person. I liked to disappear to where it was
dark. One day my innocent darkness started to worsen, as my soul was stained with that black mark.
The yelling, the screaming, the pain, Outside I held the perfect misleading smile, while inside, the memory was torturing my
brain. My entire existence was put on trial.
Then one day I met someone new, and he took my heart from me without
consent. My
brain kept screaming that he was untrue, but
my heart insisted on being content.
Slowly
the light re-entered my soul and shined through my eyes. My
world changed from the monster I've known, she stopped teasing me with all of her lies. Love and beauty are what I've been shown,
My world is whispering of embracing
light. © 2015 Britaini GrossFeatured Review
