Saviours

Saviours

A Poem by Briscottin

You're my companions
Friends when I truly need them
Someone who will always make things better
Distracting me from my darkest of days
And clearing my dreariest of thoughts

You're both incredibly annoying
But hard to resist
I can't help but cave when you are at your cutest
Until the next time your drive me round the bend

How are you always so hungry?
Or needing my affection?
You're absolutely barking mad
A nutter

But I adore you with every inch of my soul
I depend on you to provide the greatest comfort
To always be around when I need you, all the time
How could I bear to live without you by my side?

You are the loves of my life
My guardians
My saviours
My cats.
