Chapter 11

Jace closed the door to our room, as I walked into my closet.

 

There were tons of clothes, but I just threw on a white tank top, and some jeans. Grabbed a brush from a shelf (wow they thought of everything) and ran it through my hair a few times. I looked into the mirror (again wow) and I was satisfied, so I walked out.

 

As I walked out Jace just stood there with this weird look on his face, and then a dark smirk, and five seconds later he had pushed me against a wall and was leaning over me.

 

“Get off me Jace!” I screeched angrily.

 

“Make me.” He said sneering, wow now we’re back to a*****e, and then he did something, really, really unexpected. He leaned down, and kissed me, roughly. I was stiff as he tried to gain entrance to my mouth, and then finally he was done, he took a step away, gave me a look, and turned and left our room. After he left I let myself break down, as memories none too similar to this one came cascading through the wall I had blocked them out with.

 

And that’s when I felt someone else’s arms envelope me, telling me it was okay. Mike.

 

“It’s okay Liz calm down, shh, shh; Jace won’t do anything else I promise, okay? We are nothing like your brother; we aren’t here to hurt you. It’s okay calm down.”

 

And he just held me patting my back softly, until the sobs turned into sniffles, and then into soft hick ups.

 

“Are you okay Liz?”

 

I nodded softly, so happy that finally someone was here for me, and pulled Mike closer into a hug, leaning my head on his shoulder.

 

He seemed stunned for a moment put then he pulled his arms tighter around my waist, and lifted me from the floor onto my new bed.

 

“I’ll be right back okay, in just about five minutes.”

 

I nodded, letting go of him, though I didn’t really want him to leave. He gave an apologetic look, and then left.

 

 

Mike’s POV

 

Grrr I hate Jace so much right now, why in the f*****g world did he kiss her? I mean just because she looks hot (back away Mike she is only 16) doesn’t mean you can thrust yourself at her, in fact it usually means the opposite. I am going to attack Jace, now where god damnit is he.

 

I let my mind pick up the thoughts around me, and found Jace downstairs in the living room talking to Kurt. I started running downing the stairs, to annoy the king of our Hell.

 

“Jace god damnit why the hell, did you f*****g do that to her” I yelled as I reached the bottom of the stairs. “Oh you’re sorry? Oh well that’s funny, because when you effing kissed her against her will it reminded her of her effing brother! And do you really think she needs that added on top of the fact she was kidnapped by blood sucking vampires today? Oh you didn’t think, you just acted, yeah you acted like a dick.”

 

“Um what happened?” Kurt asked, and I could hear all the questions in his mind, and Jace’s warning not to tell him.

 

“This a*****e,” I jerked my thumb in Jace’s direction, “decided that since Liz looks hot it would be okay to KISS her, when she clearly said no, and this a*****e, also brought up some lovely family memories, like last Friday what her brother did to her, which is still f*****g fresh in her mind! So maybe leave the minor alone, since everyone in this f*****g dorm is already dreaming about screwing her, and since we’re supposed to be her BODY guards, why don’t we leave those effing thoughts to the vampires we’re guarding her from.”

 

“God, chilax bro,” Kurt said taking a step back having stood from the couch as I had been letting my steam off.

 

“You don’t know the s**t she has gone through, and the nightmares she has, you don’t know about the abuse, the pain, the tears, and you don’t f*****g know how easily it will be to f*****g break her, because if you didn’t notice she just shuts down when people touch her, ever wondered why?”

 

Jace looked, and sounded like he might actually feel bad for once in his life, and Kurt was standing there open mouthed clearly not used to the loud side of Mike the angry side.

 

“Well then tell us.” Jace said.
