Chapter 8

Liz’s POV

 

So we headed in the direction of what Mike told me was the office. Gawwwd damn VAMPIRES, and their FRICKING abilities to read minds and whatever the hell else, sure it will, possibly, come in handy if I ever am in trouble, but dude it will probably first bother the s**t out of me, and we can NOT be in Hell. It looks nothing like Hell, I mean where are the fiery pits, and dead people, and like ummm all that other stuff, and who in the he- oh maybe saying hell is like a bad thing to say in hell, like a um taboo…

 

Mike started laughing, again. “Hell is nothing like humans portray it to be, at least this hell isn’t, in fact hell is a sort of peaceful place for mythical creatures, like us.”

 

Oh, okay that slightly makes since, but that means, “Is there more than one Hell?”

 

Mike nodded, “You know you seem to be accepting the whole ‘living with vampires, in Hell’ thing pretty well.”

 

“Yeah well, my dad was a BIG believer in this type of stuff, and can you tell if I'm in shock because that is possible too.”

 

Another soft chortle from Mike, accompanied by Felipe this time, “So what are your guys’ powers, like you Felipe, anything awesomely amazing you can do?”

 

A smile and then Felipe answered “I’m an awesome fighter.”

 

“Aren’t all vampires?”

 

“I’m the best.”

 

Jace sniggered “Yeah, right.” He said. “Oh and we’re here, come on Liz. Mike, Felipe wait out here, dad you coming?”

 

Reed shook his head, “I have to explain the, ah, new comers needs.” A glance towards me and then Reed turned on his heel and left.

 

“Well come on,” Jace said impatiently, reaching for my wrist, again.

 

I dodged in time, “Stop grabbing my wrist, I’m coming, and stop being so controlling, its getting on my nerves.”

 

Jace growled. “Fine let’s go.”

 

Mike cleared his throat in a warning manner, I sent a silent thanks, a nod. I took a glance towards the door Jace had just walked through, and entered.

 

Room assignment time, yay…..
