Someone worth losingA Poem by Bridger Hallsometimes you write the best when you´re madYou’re such
a sad excuse for a good time And I was
blind enough to look past both your faces You sink
ships with every move that you make Exaggerated
clear cut and perfect for attention I’m
struggling to find the words to say to bring you down hard Harder than
you’ve ever fallen I’m allergic
to that tone of voice And all
those dirty faces mean nothing to me this time Go back to You know no
one wants you here And I’m so
selfish yea it’s so clear Everyone
knows you’re wrong And the
world will sing this song Until you
see that you’re someone worth losing. All this
nervous pacing is worthless And I’ll
write it all out to better collect myself There was a
fine line between my heart and your head And you
just can’t seem to get around it I feel so
bad to keep writing like this Tearing you
down and sinking to your level It’s good
to get it off my chest And it’s good
to keep yours covered That way no
one will know what we’ve done Go back to You know no
one wants you here And I’m so
selfish yea it’s so clear Everyone
knows you’re wrong And the
world will sing this song Until you
see that you’re someone worth losing © 2012 Bridger HallAuthor's Note
