Hats

Hats

A Poem by Brid
"

as a proud hatter myself---

"
A girl wearing a hat,
easily entranced,
gazes at the sky.
The mountain crest is dotted with lights.

A boy wearing a hat,
empty with focus,
stops on the roadside.
Something lost is found while cars rush by.

Two people wearing hats,
faces flushed with cold,
meet each other's eyes.
The moment is forgotten after a shared heartbeat.

Hello. I am only in high school, but I love writing and just want to improve. I'm considering a career in something writing-related, maybe an editor? I try to be realistic, though, so I'm not pinni.. more..
