Heartache

Heartache

A Poem by The Ponderings of Bella
"

Yeah I think this is a pretty crappy poem ....

"

Down these streets I run from fears,
Vision blurred from crying all these tears,
My head burns, my eyes ache,
This party was turning out to be one big mistake.
I came with you to have some fun,
I didn't realize from you I would have to run.
I loved you and only you,
Now my heart cries that is all it will do.
The party turned out to be not all that bad,
Everyone was happy no one was sad.
Then all of the sudden the room spun,
I could not walk I couldn't run,
Dizzy I collapsed and I waited to be found,
Arms around my waist, you were lifting me off the ground.
We ended up in a room,
My head was pounding "this is your doom."
How could I have known?
That your heart was made out of stone.
"Please" I beg "leave me alone!"
Down these streets I run from fears,
Vision blurred from crying all these tears,
The blood runs thick from wounds so deep,
Exhausted and weary I fall in a heap.
You watched me scream,
Your eyes, they gleamed,
You ripped the seams,
Destroyed my dreams,
You watched me struggle, pound and cry,
At that moment I was sure I would die.
Down these streets I run from fears,
Vision blurred from crying all these tears,
I'm shaking now, beyond control,
You can take my body, but never my soul.
