Ignored by my Lover

Ignored by my Lover

A Poem by BrianLove

What can my Love buy?

An icy shoulder,

Why even try?

It feels like I’m rapidly growing older

Yet, I lean on it, the feeling supposedly fond

Water from my eyes crystallizes

Creating a painful bond

Where one Loves, and one Despises

Why does the ice never melt?

The shoulder only grows colder

Why is the scar still felt?

Pain is more searing when older

To rid oneself of such a horrid bond

Is no task for the weak

Tear your face from the alluring blonde

Saving half your face for the next one you seek

Woe to Him who forces Love

For the pieces of himself, He gives all of
