A WOMAN ON MY MIND TONIGHT (12.31.11 12:37am)A Chapter by Brian KraklauA WOMAN ON MY
MIND TONIGHT oh
such soft cheeks of sweet roses I do miss what
rare and radiant lips too gentle for a kiss she
just may be a Juliet in here beauty dead
and lost in the sea but
there be no Romeo within me oh
gentle night to spy upon open shutters a
feather floating on the winds of lovers heads
over heals to fly like the morning dove gliding
my dreams upon soft beds lay quiet voices in love and
these silent temptresses disposed of oh
that heart that lays within your breast I
await to begin and to outwit any lovers test this
love that never ceases to quit this
broken knife at my hip shall
be the end of me if denied our lover's sip I
could never endorse the temptations of these whims for
this night be a mere lust of sins to
ruminate the shedding cloth untied but
as of now these eyes must look aside away
with this love that I have spied when
this sun rises a cold breeze upon my sheets following
my feet on the empty streets for
this merely be a fool's contemplation a
fool's quarrel for love's liberation to
end such a meaningless sense of fixation. © 2011 Brian KraklauFeatured Review
