WITHOUT YOU

WITHOUT YOU

A Chapter by Brian Kraklau

twisted on the side-lines,

you can't see,

nor can I,

crooked words,

head down time's rocky road,

bring us new lies,

our lives

based on something constantly misunderstood,

we lose it,

you all flash your guns expecting me not to laugh,

your primitive ways of caveman mentality,

days in this haze

tangled up in old ways,

doors will not open for a bunch of apes,

lusting power,

surrounded by greed

well I will walk this myself,

I shall walk on through,

without you.
