-ANY QUESTIONS (there are too many answers)

A Chapter by Brian Kraklau

in the sleepless night,

between the thin edges of reality and dream,

we still lack the direction and motivation

to stand in the way of ourselves

realize,

we must close these eyes one way or another,

we build the walls,

here I am stuck in between your teeth,

where do you want me to go,

what must I say for you to let me in,

through the barriers of every day

blurry truth,

covered in what we fail to look for,

as the wind winds down between my eyes,

I am cursed

blessed

crutches of the same notion,

I know these feelings are what they are

nothing more,

whether anyone wants to spend their time figuring

calculating how insane this has become,

just to realize that through each fingernail's stroke of midnight hours,

where the smoke floats on up the chandelier,

the dictionary will sit in the corner,

covered in dust,

who needs this when emotions are the bringers of new ages,

new life,

the bringing of new realizations,

that we all cannot know everything,

that we cannot get into any routine

when the wind right outside brings the changes of our minds,

with the waking of the next day,

leaving me with this I say,

leaving me with that one beam of sunlight,

to bring this simple work of words into view,

where the water will run clear,

where the sky above has nothing to say

kicking back in this chair,

casting my line out once more,

in hopes that I am not cast upon,

by the fish below.
