it's cold out tonight,

snowing,

ice coming down on our heads,

diamonds from the sky,

we were such young children

dancing in circles,

laughing,

smiling,

why worry about anything

when such moments as this occur,

when there is nothing else

no one else in these eyes

no one but this shivering body in my arms,

an event sent to create the warmth of lust

cause and effect upon my heart,

should I trust this again,

when I've been thrown into the flames so many times before,

set ablaze from my misjudgment,

oh why worry on anything during a moment such as this,

a simple kiss will be ok,

better than any love making could grant,

a simple memory locked deep,

a small token to keep

whether this snow covered road is clear or not,

I will not worry

for time has got me by the hand,

and I will let her lead me on.

This poem is so true... Why worry about things failing? Everything comes to an end eventually, so why not enjoy it while it lasts? You'll always have the good memories, even if you have to take the bad with them.

I like your work so far, even though sometimes it's hard for me to understand fully. I think there is truth in your words.
