SO MANY RULES "?"

SO MANY RULES "?"

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

fire, such an amazing innovention, when the day comes and expectations are completely rolled into a highly compressed bundle, thrown into the dampness of the back of ones mind, on days like these nothing is expected, because even the wind sends chills down my neck, when will i get this break from reality, or what we have made up to be reality, why with these rules, so much pressure on the mind, ready to expload,

she said my time was a wast, to reach out for help, to stumble in the dark,

waiting

for atlest one hand to reach out

and turn this day to line up with my expectations of myself

oh yes

i am inmature, i have no f*****g clue as to how the world works

i was born just three seconds ago,

so many rules, so many people pushing you down as they gasp for air, picking, scratching, and kicking their way to the top, as i sink down towards the deapths of this ocean,

will there be someoe to lift me up and save me from drowning in this diverse world full of people trying to save themselves, full of people trying to use what they can,

there are no morals, there are not values

why so many rules.

BULLSHIT!

Their are many rules that are bullshit and unnecessary. Our society which consists of a democracy, majority rule, still doesn’t seem to work. In a way it still exploits and withholds certain personal freedoms. What’s popular isn’t always right, and what’s right isn’t always popular. Keep up the writting

I think the key is, to save others once you've saved yourself...
and the only rules are the ones you decide to apply to yourself.
If you want morals, then have them.

The great leaders of the past told of these days where the Government will try to control all things. The Government want health care, own most of the banks (Loan) and the auto industry is in great debt to this Government. Now they want control of education and keep wars going to create great income for the contractors of war. Our young people life to insure the war machine stays in tact. You are correct. So many damn rules. Time for us to ask for less Government. Time for us to demand a balance budget. Time for the leaders of this country to know the pain of being homeless or standing in the middle of a war we are fighting for unknown reasons. A outstanding poem. You made me think again.
