WITHOUT YOU

WITHOUT YOU

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

twisted on the side, you cant see, nor can i, i do not know, when the crooked words, wind down the time, and bring us new lies, our lives are based on something coonstantly misunderstood, and we lose it, you all flash your guns and expet me not to laugh, youre primitave ways are too caveman mentality, that the days of today are tangled up in old ways, these doors will not open for a bunch of apes, surrounded by greed and the lust for power, well i will tackle this myself, and i shall walk through, without you.

I like this. It reminds me of cowboys in the wild wild west. The town gone bad and only you taking the moral high ground...your back to the wall as you edge your way around the room...towards the door.
The dust, the heat...the squint of the lone gunman you must take down in order to restore order.
First bullet, an easy shot straight in the guts..well, he was such a greedy guts.

Greed can be in many forms, sometimes not even known to the one who holds it. great write.
