I CONFESS TO IT

I CONFESS TO IT

A Poem by Brian Kraklau

i lay down at night and swarmed by your image, i wake in the mornining and i sigh with helplessness, at lunch i miss your touch, and by the evning i wish everything would change and that i would be lead back home, back to the place i belong, but alas my heart my want to flee for its destination, but i know as well as anyone else, that my heart is not welcome there, upon the shores of love, oh do i hope and dream of the day when i will find you, oh love, and sing with you by my side the rest of my days.

Your words make me feel as if I am being swept away by the breath of self expression.

this poem was short and sweet. best lines in opinion:
'but alas my heart my want to flee for its destination, but i know as well as anyone else, that my heart is not welcome there, upon the shores of love' I've deffinitely felt this way before.

i love how this begins, and the way you sense rejection. Also
like the line, flee for its destination. Very fine!
