THE FORGOTTEN WORD

THE FORGOTTEN WORD

A Chapter by Brian Kraklau

If only they would come

The words on my tongue

Sand in a forgotten choir

Throughout a universe of fire

Lost in a void of relentless thought

Can’t seem to find the words sought

Like wild animals untamed

In a world unnamed

They all come way too late

Ending with an ending not quite so great
