THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

THE FORBIDDEN FRUIT

A Chapter by Brian Kraklau

Formed through an unopened wall

Within a closed circle of a box

Used for the untold stories of untold lands

The piece of worlds

The function of the stars

Formed of the fish that have flown for long distances

Carried by the winds of untold worries

Filtered the function

Held departure in the underworld

Fought eagles nest

Deserted universes

Pieced together by the fence that combines a soldier

That has such an over hung heart upon the sword

To fall down into the rushing tears of mother earth

The rivers teasing his eyes for another turn to break their truth

Used in his for held arm of a hand

Union soldiers march up at your door

Carrying the controlled warheads

Bombing the universe with their unlovely distance

Devoured the man of their world

Within their own classified reason

Fallen towards the evil depths of the under ground

The passage of underground

Of the earthen Satan

Verbal truths

Lies

Sucked down by the unisex mother with one mouth

Formed by the wormlike fingers

And the touch of the lords that take the world undercover

To consume the verbs

Thoughts that eat your life to ashes

Fallen from the long pipe

Of grandfather time

He waits

With closed eyes of sorrow

Disappointed in the verbal effectiveness of the feet feeling touch barrier

Blowing away at the green fields of red flame

Triple touched fingers of the silent word

Cramped by the soul of forgotten whine bottles

Forgotten in a sea of ripe grapes

Eat that fruit, Adam

Eat the life that will be taken

Eat

Eat but just one bite

Eat

And end it all.
