KING OF VESTIGE

KING OF VESTIGE

A Chapter by Brian Kraklau

Cramped by the twin bicycles

Fall like rain

Fall like one hindered falling ricks

Shaken from the early sleep falling in the rain of the day light sun

Wrinkling over the ruffs of the river

Weaned of our early flow of untrained thought

Swimming over the ancient day

The woods beckon us to fields of grass

Uneaten

Unspoken hotdogs

Formed and farmed over the roast baby backed ribs

Giving birth to each egg of giving fertility

Save us from them

Save us from the earth of such hate

Save my soulless life

Grant the virtue of movement

We need to complete this circle

Of the seven kings

Where was that meal

Oh king.
