WAITA Poem by Brian Kraklauthe fog is rolling in again, sir, you awake, youve been away for a while, why wont you stay, kick your shoes off, now tell me of this voyage, this story lived, tell me where have you gone, what have you done, did you meet the one, did you do what you set out to do? well let me begin with now, with the smoke in the air i blinked, and you saw it didn't you, there may have been many people there, but we saw, we knew, the ground around us was shifting, the world on top of us was changing, what we did then mearly changed the world, and set a new light upon the stage. how long must i wait for the call, sir, when will you be home again. i will return agian, once more, to that place, the room of progress, flying on the wings all the way, passing the craters beneath our feet, wind in our face, yet we're still sweating, smiling, feeling free, to fly down through the caves of our memorie, where life will always lurk between the stalagmites, looking up, to one day be blessed with rest, we end this ride at the end, where we began, and we both know, we will do this again, so till then, my friend, we will wait, for now. © 2011 Brian KraklauReviews
