YOU still THERE

YOU still THERE

A Poem by Brian Kraklau
"

words to part with when the water has stoped running

"

do you remember, long ago, we were all we needed, you told me that love was all we needed, but when you told me to get out on that day, that would begin my life as it is now, you remember all those fights that were of such a thunderouse noise in the middle of the night, do you not think i knew, do you not think i didnt see, i may have been too nieve in the views of all of your eyes, but my eyes told me different, you didnt see that deep train of thought, echoing in the darkness, from the tainted colors of your words, piercing through the cold air, stabbing me in my sleep, as i scream, in the middle of the night

I believe if you break the poem up into set of lines it would be more powerful. A story of disappointment in your words. I could feel the separation and anger in your words. A excellent poem.
